I bought the chain for the purpose of securing my bike in the garage. It makes a solid impression, with a good padlock it should be quite a barrier to an amateur of other people's property. I bought the chain for the purpose of securing my bike in the garage. It makes a solid impression, with a good padlock it should be quite a barrier to an amateur of other people's property. The workmanship is unqualified. The only drawback (if you can call it that) - the chain links do not pass through each other. I.e. with a padlock you need to catch two, which limits the choice of padlocks.
