the kit comes with a special connecting link: either a snap or a crimp (in the case of a crimp, a special chain crimper must be used during installation)

The set includes

chain + clasp DID 428 NZ 136 non-coring high-performance (cross)
front sprocket JTF1550 14 teeth
rear sprocket JT 56 teeth size 428

Note: Some kits come with a slightly longer chain than recommended by the manufacturer to allow the user to use a different gear ratio. In this case, the chain simply needs to be shortened accordingly.
