General description

EBC MX brake disc for Offroad/Enduro and ATV vehicles. MANUFACTURED IN THE GREAT BRITAIN.
The purpose of development is to improve braking performance compared to the original brake disc. EBC uses HPSR low carbon steel, which has an 18% higher coefficient of friction. This steel is much more resistant to rust than cast steel. In addition, the entire surface is protected by a 3-micron thick layer of zinc, which abrades in the contact area of the brake pad already during braking. It is only in this area that light tarnish rust can form after a long period of use.
The brake discs are drilled in the shape of a birdcage in order to have as few holes as possible, while optimizing the cleaning of the brake disc from rainwater and brake dust. The fewer the holes, the better the wet braking performance and less wear.
Rigid brake disc.

Galvanized for protection against corrosion.
EBC recommends EBC Organic TT brake pads or, for sport riders, EBC sintered R or MXS compound brake pads.
