Electrical contact cleaner with applicator helps a lot in cleaning contacts from any oxides, salts, etc. Note, however, that the preparation alone may not cope with the mega large gray-green tarnish and you still need to act mechanically. Electrical contact cleaner with applicator helps a lot in cleaning contacts from any oxides, salts, etc. Note, however, that the preparation alone may not cope with the mega large gray-green tarnish and you still need to act mechanically. Great preparation for electrical contacts . Just wait and let the chemistry react with the snotty , oxidized contacts . I used to have a German preparation from the Kontakt chemie series and much more expensive, but this one is much cheaper and also works !!!
