  The crankcase cover arrived very quickly and when I opened it I was impressed by how good it looked: sturdy and well finished. A little heavier than I expected (4200 g) because the three support bridges that brings to anchor it to the chassis of the bike are steel and not aluminum 4 mm as the oil pan. The 14 screws it comes with are also heavy. It has many more anchorages and supports to the chassis than the original of my Yamaha Ténéré 700 extreme 2024, which I disassembled totally dented. When I mounted it, according to instructions, everything went well until I tried to thread the last three screws on the bridge where it is supported by the front. They did not thread because they did not fit the 3 holes of the cover with the 3 nuts of the bridge. After a lot of research, I realized that the oil pan did not reach its position because it was sticking with the support of the protection that the bike has on the exhaust (it is the new exhaust that Yamaha mounts to meet EURO 5). To solve this problem, I had to make a hole in the exhaust cover the size of the bracket (as shown in the photo). In my opinion, the skid plate should not even rest on the exhaust pipe because a hit on that side of the skid plate will always damage the exhaust against which it rests.   Płyta na początku nie pasowała. Przy montażu najlepiej tylne mocowanie przykręcić na początku delikatnie tak aby przy przykręcaniu przednich trzech śrub tył można było wyregulować na otworach fasolkach.
