Fox Racing was founded by American physicist Geoff Fox. In its early days, the company distributed European Cambpell motorcycles in California under the name Moto-X Fox. In its later years, Fox became a manufacturer of motorcycle parts for motocross. After much success in motocross in 1977, the company began producing motocross apparel, which became a hit among motocross riders and fans in a dizzying array of sports. With the company's reorganization in the 1980s, Fox became a motocross apparel tycoon worldwide.
