The emulator plugs in between the probe and the controller. It takes the original signal from the Lambda probe as a base value and, based on it, calculates a new, modified signal, which is transmitted to the module. Based on the modified signal, the module, depending on the engine's operation, selects the appropriate injection characteristics.
