General description

A Tüv-compliant vehicle nameplate specifically for motorcycles in the EU area. This plate must be placed in a clearly visible and easily accessible location on a part of the vehicle that is unlikely to be replaced during normal use, maintenance and repair (e.g., due to accidental damage).
The information on the plate must be clearly legible and indelible, and must contain the following information, if possible on the same line:
1. vehicle manufacturer or trade name2. vehicle class, including subclass and subclass. 3. the EU type approval number (EC type approval)4. the vehicle identification number consisting of an ordered combination of characters. 5. stationary noise (for vehicles for which no stationary noise test is conducted, the information "......dB(A)" and "......kw -1" must be displayed as " ---").
