SACHS High Performance Grease:
Lithium soap and mineral oil based grease with PD (plastic deformation) additive package. Suitable for long-term lubrication and high mechanical loads, for lubricating the inner sleeve spline of the clutch disc and clutch shaft.
The clutch will operate flawlessly for a long time only if the hub profile is optimally lubricated.
If the clutch is not properly lubricated during installation, tribocorrosion may occur on the hub profile. In this case, the clutch disc will rub against the clutch shaft instead of sliding along it. ZF Aftermarket stresses that the hub profile must always be properly lubricated.
