General description
- Instrument housing new edition for BMW R2V Boxer /6 and /7 to 9/77 models.
- Owners of classic BMW road motorcycles now have reason to rejoice: the speedometer housing for the /6 and /7 through 9/1977 models is back.
- This long sought-after part, which has been unavailable from BMW for some time, is now available as an improved Siebenrock product.
- As usual with Siebenrock, the new speedometer housing looks exactly like the original part, so the classic Youngtimer look is preserved.
- However, the workmanship has been put to the test and improved with great attention to detail, both in material and finish. Among other things, Siebenrock has fitted all internal bolt connection points with durable threaded inserts!
- Made from the highest quality injection molding, the new housings are characterized by the following features:
- High strength/impact resistance due to the low content of glass beads in the material- Selected material and coating ensure high UV and weather resistance. - Threaded inserts are overmolded, not glued. They are securely fastened and secured against twisting, and have a better load-bearing capacity thanks to the additional secondary closure.
