General description
- Racing YSS Platinum anodized steering shock - has more progressive adjustment than Top Line models.
- Adjustable with 30 clicks and 78mm of travel.
- Mounting bracket for vertical attachment to the motorcycle.
- Includes 2 6mm mounting bushings for reduction.
- Mounting bolts: 8mm for bracket and shock arm.
- The steering shock absorber counteracts the self-excited "shimmy" phenomenon, i.e. the dangerous effect of resonant vibrations of the handlebars, transmitted from the traction of the front wheel to the entire front suspension of the unicycle. This occurs mainly at high vehicle speeds and leads directly to an accident, as it is extremely difficult and sometimes impossible for an amateur driver to control the phenomenon.
- The use of a properly installed and matched to the motorcycle model steering shock absorber and a set for its installation effectively allows you to avoid the above-mentioned phenomena.
- Due to the rather complicated installation of the shock absorber and the need for precise adjustment of the shock absorber, we suggest that the installation work be carried out by a specialized motorcycle workshop with the appropriate qualifications, tools and experience.
