SACHS Performance sintermetal clutch disc.
The accessory clutch disc is made of sintermetal, characterized by incredible resistance to high temperatures. The special design of the disc has been molded to dissipate heat more efficiently (than the original disc). This is crucial when trying to move a motorcycle out of mud or mounded sand.
The friction surfaces were made of sintered materials and attached to the backing plate without rivets during heat treatment of the entire component. They are characterized by a friction coefficient that is about 40% higher than that of organic materials. As a result, the clutch works very precisely at all operating temperatures. It also makes it possible to transfer significantly higher torque.
The product was developed by the dedicated sports solutions engineering cell of SACHS, known for its products dedicated to BMW "M" series cars.
The kit also includes a sachet of grease to protect the spline.
