MAIT.CYLINDRE DE FREIN CROSS

The patient is a 2009 Yamaha XT660R. Everything was able to be put together. Basically the whole thing looks like the original. The brake line bolt fits from the original master cylinder. The only difficulty is the need to thread the hole for the mirror (left M10x1.25mm thread) and the need to crimp the connectors for the stop light sensor. Note that the plane under the mirror is slightly at a slant. The threader does not reach the end, so after pre-threading, I cut 4mm of threader and thus reached the end of the hole. If anyone had concerns about whether they could handle the drilling (alignment) and tapping, or about the warranty on the pump, they could use an accessory mirror mount. The difference in braking is quite large. The brake responds faster to the movement of the handle, the braking force is greater. The current pump is 14mm, and in my opinion it performs much better on the road, and is not yet a problem off-road. It seems to me that above 15mm piston there is nothing to go in, because you will lose the ability to modulate the braking force. In the current configuration, I don't see the need to change to a larger disc for now, especially since replacing the pump comes out to half the amount of the adapter and disc.

Rear brake master cylinder + reservoir ATV 200

As someone planning to replace the master cylinder, it is important to remember that this master cylinder requires special bleeding! It is not enough to pour the fluid and play with the valve at the caliper, but it is necessary to make a vacuum on the valve in the caliper or build yourself a suitable reservoir plug, which under pressure will push the fluid out of it, remembering not to air up the system, that is, use the rubber that is factory in the reservoir plug. The operation is not difficult, but without it venting this brake system is impossible! And you may encounter negative reviews that the pump is of poor quality, etc. And the pump is quite leggy! And after proper bleeding it works without the slightest problems!

Universal brake master cylinder

It is used on a Yamaha XJ600 with one caliper. I have a rather quiet riding style. In my opinion, with this configuration it does the job. I'm not sure if it would handle two calipers, and I certainly wouldn't put it on something more powerful. Overall a good choice if you need a quick reliable and cheap makeshift. Can be ridden but rather to be changed to something more powerful.

All Balls brake master cylinder repair kit 18-1063

The kit contains all the necessary components for regeneration. One note is that the new seals have a minimally longer lip, which in my case caused a situation where, after releasing the handle, the initial pressure on the piston closed the fluid backflow hole into the reservoir when the brakes were heated. A slight filing of the stem took care of the problem and now everything works as it should.

Brake master cylinder repair kit kpl

I got a different piston than the one in the picture. It's smooth, it doesn't have that spiral, it's thicker in that area, but overall the dimensions are the same and it fits perfectly with the original pump on a 2006 TGB Orion 101S.
