I recommend the clutch pump repair kit from Tourmax. Replacement is trivially easy, and all the necessary things that wear out in such a pump are included in the set. For a small amount of money, you can easily recondition a malfunctioning pump and eliminate clutch problems.

YAMAHA XJR1300SP vintage 1999, all parts fit perfectly (to the eye does not differ from the original). The piston cover and brake piston grease are missing from the set, but the old cover was OK, it stayed, and I had the grease.
