A brand with sixty years of experience, producing pistons for unicycles from the very beginning. They are made by casting method from aluminum alloy with 18% silicon content, and thus have very low expansion at high temperatures. Thanks to vast experience, lightweight pistons with a low friction index and very high strength have been created. In order to reduce friction and prolong service life, the piston shell is sprayed with a layer of molybdenum during the manufacturing process.
Meteor pistons, designed for four-stroke engines, are produced by casting and then forging technology, from an aluminum alloy with 13% silicon content. In addition, they are subjected to a process of annealing and sputtering with a layer of molybdenum and graphite (to reduce the coefficient of friction during operation). They are also subjected to an anodizing process, which significantly affects the hardness of the material. Piston rings are made in Japan.
