The cable looks ok, maybe a tad too thin. Unfortunately worse is the pipe. The quality is poor and it had no transition at all when checked with a meter. Maybe the spark would jump, but wouldn't it reflect on the strength of the spark. After trying to repair it, the pipe broke.
