In the 1970's Wrangler invented the Broken Twill weave, which solved the age-old problem of twisting legs due to washing. In addition, it is much more durable. They decided to follow this solution by adding 20% more Cordura, which made it even more resistant to abrasion, plus they added elastic joints for improved comfort.
