The product is made of solid metal, making it extremely heavy. That's great, it can easily hold my fat touring suit, helmet, gloves, rain gear and various chargers. But one-handed attachment was really not possible, I unusually needed two more hands when attaching it. Some edges (helmet pad!!!) have fine metal machining points! They would tear the inner lining of my helmet! Simply deburring is not possible because of the black coating. I had my wife sew me two coverable pads so as not to damage my helmet.
