The quality and finish of the parts is very good for the price. The weights are actually 8g which doesn't match the description. It seems to have the same max drive ratio as the polini sport variator my honda bali is equipped with, although i haven't tested to see how it performs. (When i ordered this I wasn't aware my scooter already has an upgraded variator so i won't be running this one)

I have tested the variator and it works great, it has changed including the sound when accelerating, it is installed on a Peugeot speedfigth 1 with a 70 cc and Yasuni exhaust, the only thing I have replaced are the rollers as they are small in grams. The plate is larger than the original and different shape, it picks up more speed, so far I am satisfied with the purchase.

Excellent variator that works great on my Honda X8R, well worth the price. Installed a year ago worked 6000 kilometers and zero problems + noticeable improvement in performance. I recommend this product - very good job by Mallossi :)
